Please share this "link" with ALL your family, friends, class mates and coworkers to help them stay healthier one handwash at a time. Share with them how practicing the 4 Principles of Hand Awareness will help them to remain healthy, in spite of the flu or bird flu scares. It is the BEST way to prevent epidemics or pandemics!

Following the 4 Principles of Hand Awareness you will be in virtual isolation regardless of the people  around you. Direct contamination (inoculation) of your mucus membranes(eyes, nose or mouth) is how infectious disease enters your body. It is not wafting through the ventilation system in the building. Let's work together to minimize the fear factor of infectious disease pandemics or seasonal illness. Only you are responsible for giving yourself the flu or flu-like illness!

National Handwashing Awareness Week is the first full week of December each year since 1999. Thank you for lending a Hand to Protect your family and community!

Who will be the Champion Handwashers for 2008?

Henry is asking YOU to please participate in the Hand Washing Competition for Hand Washing Awareness Week. Do not forget to tell your family, friends, fellow students and co-workers to lend a hand to Keep US all Healthy One Handwash at a Time!

It is EASY! All you have to do is keep track of the number of times you wash your hands (see home hand washing chart) between December 7th -13th.  At the end of the week fill out the competition form to be eligible for a prize.

The school, city and state who report the most handwashings will be:  Posted on the Henry the Hand website, Named the Champion Handwashers, AND the individual with the most handwashes reported will receive a Henry the Hand Champion Handwasher T-shirt!  

The following categories will be awarded  the Champion Handwasher accolade reporting the most handwashes by:

1. School District     2. City        3. State

Complete the Handwashing Competition Form on the sub menu to the left after December 13th.
