The Early Child Infection Prevention Tool Kit includes all the tools necessary to institute a successful hand hygiene training program for both staff and students/children in your Pre-school/daycare program. Hand hygiene is the most common defect in an ECERS review.

Dr. Will Sawyer with the help of many experts has created this simple Infection Prevention Training Program based on the 4 Principles of Hand Awareness* and Johns Hopkins Partnership 2000 School strategies, which engages the family, school and community to work together to benefit the student. This science based multi-media and multi-sensory Tool Kit is designed with a curriculum that trains students, faculty and staff members to prevent the spread of respiratory and gastro-intestinal infections. Some of the basic features were derived from his experience when his 4 children were in daycare in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.

Presenteeism for both students and staff are key results because a healthy student is a better learner.

Implementing the innovative reinforcement techniques and tools of this program into your school’s culture develops a lifelong practice of the 4 Principles of Hand Awareness* that have been endorsed by the AMA and AAFP.
